PRODUCT DESIGN AND USER EXPERIENCE LEADER

Currently, I am leading the UX/UI design for Akamai's Cloud Security platform. I started working with Akamai in the early years (1998), working on many of the original NOCC screens to help monitor the entire Akamai network. I happily re-joined in 2012 with a focus on making the Luna Control Center the best user-centered, self-service experience working on their main Property Manager Application.
My experience has been broad from start-ups to larger corporations such as AccuWeather, Bell Atlantic, Water Environment Federation, and Mullen, focusing on visual UI/branding/marketing for software applications/broadcast/multimedia training/web and mobile. Although I have experience with print design, my start and focus have always been UI design over the last 20 years. I’ve held many roles from production artist/animator/developer to design director. Still, my key strengths and ongoing passions are researching and understanding the products I work on and aligning those with the users' goals/experience.
I live north of Boston in a working artist mill community, with several of my Dogue De Bordeauxs, a Frenchie, and my two relaxed cats. In my spare time, I like to collect vintage electronics and create art using mixed media. I also enjoy being adventurous on hikes, kayaking/boating, and fast motorcycling.

Currently, I am the Founding Principal Product Designer for Query.ai. At Query.ai we are working on solving the growing problem for security analysts, threat hunters, and incident responders, which is finding answers to security data efficiently and effectively. My goal is to create a user experience that helps security operations teams make better decisions faster using their security data where it is, without spending time and money to centralize it, creating an experience that allows them to quickly find the answers they are looking for.
In the recent past, I led the UX/UI design for Akamai's Cloud Security platform, which entailed seven different product lines. This significant contribution brought the revenue from 200 million to 1.2 billion in less than seven years.
